Every event should be a Citrine Space.

I’m Priyanshi Nigam, founder of Citrine Space. I spent four years working in tech as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at VMware and Broadcom. At Broadcom, I experienced B2B field marketing from the other side: attending the events, meeting the teams behind them, and seeing firsthand how the right experience can bring people together around a company, product, or idea.

But my relationship with tech events started long before my career did. I’ve been part of the tech community since high school, from attending conferences and meetups to interviewing startup founders at conferences while I was in college. Over the years, I’ve experienced events from nearly every angle: as an attendee, an employee, a host, and now, an organizer.

More recently, I’ve worked alongside three different event businesses in San Francisco, helping bring everything from large community gatherings to intimate workshops and experiences to life. Being behind the scenes taught me just how much thought, coordination, and care goes into creating an event that actually feels good to be at.

Why Citrine Space?

Citrine is my birthstone, traditionally associated with abundance, warmth, and positive energy. Those are the same qualities I want every event I create to have: a space where people feel welcome, conversations happen naturally, and people leave feeling glad they came.

That’s what a Citrine Space is to me.

And I think every event should be one.
